Statement

Robyn is originally from Old Shop, a tiny community in Trinity Bay, Newfoundland. She has spent four years living on the west coast of the province completing a degree in Visual Arts and now lives in St. John’s. Robyn produces art influenced by sound, texture and colour and combines these elements into each and every one of her paintings.

“Ultimately, collaging and layering are an attempt to recall and release memories, a sense of longing and the feeling that life is fleeting and often outside of our control.”
