Being a member provides a space for inspiration whereby artists can connect and share ideas with each other, as well as the general public via this website. We want to help create artistic concepts that speak to and of our common goals of expressing ourselves as young artists. By providing an atmosphere that will result in creating innovative exhibitions we will push the boundaries of the current options available to emerging artists for showing their work.
Your membership fee of $60 annually*, will provide you with:
- the opportunity to help plan and organize exhibitions and workshops for the collective – which you will be invited to participate in.
- an online space to showcase your work
- access to appropriate information including, calls for submissions, grant/funding opportunities etc.
Pick-Me-Up Artist Collective plans to maintain a high level of quality, therefore images submitted are presented to a volunteer Standards Committee who jury the work and decide if the appropriate guidelines are met. It is our intent to ensure that all work promoted, exhibited and sold by P-M-U is of the highest standards.
